Start SQL Server Agent Automatically when OS Restarts


a) Open SQL Server Configuration Manager.
b) In SQL Server Configuration Manager, expand Services, and then click SQL Server.
c) In the details pane, right-click the name of the instance you want to start automatically, and then click Properties.
d) In the SQL Server Properties dialog box, set Start Mode to Automatic.
e) Click OK, and then close SQL Server Configuration Manager.
